Savage #50 Warm White seamless, 53"×36' Your primary ground. Matches Ivory — warm, not the cold Super White. Clean packshots + vertical product. 1$40
Savage #51 Bone seamless, 53"×36' Secondary tonal ground — a touch more depth for styled flat lays without adding a new hue. 1$40
Savage #50 Warm White, 86"×36' · optional Only if you want full flat overheads of the 135 cm mat with margin. Otherwise shoot the mat styled/partial. 1$75
Impact Background Support System (BGS-S12-V2) Holds the rolls; converts to light stands. Set against a full-height wall, not under the ducts. 1$110
Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 tripod (legs) + ball head 90° horizontal column = true top-down flat lays and locked-off vertical packshots from one tripod. 1$260
Impact 40" C-stand + grip arm · optional upgrade Rock-steady overhead boom if you shoot a lot of flat lays. Safer than the tripod column for true top-down. 1$130
Large softbox or 30×40" scrim One big soft source = window light. Match the mount to your Neewer panels. This is the highest-impact light add. 1$65
Impact 5-in-1 collapsible reflector, 42" White side bounces fill opposite the key; black side adds shape back into glossy items. 1$40
Calibrite ColorChecker Passport Photo 2 Non-negotiable here. Keeps Ivory and the soft tones true and consistent across 5 SKUs + parent/kid pairs. 1$90
Impact saddle sandbags Weight the stand and C-stand. Safety + stability. 3$60
Spring clamps + gaffer tape + Giottos Rocket blower Hold paper, tidy cords, blow dust off product between shots. 1 ea$45
Microfiber cloths + lint roller Lint and fingerprints — the silent killers on PU leather and silk. 1 ea$15
Cheaper / more on-brand elsewhere (hardware + fabric store)

Textured flat-lay surfaces Warm oak board, a lime-wash/plaster panel (MDF + textured paint), and natural ecru linen. This is where the Doên / Sézane lived-in feel comes from — better than clinical seamless for styled shots. Use a vest-fabric offcut for the linen if you have one. 3$85
Brunswick Green painted panel · optional 4×8 MDF/hardboard + 1 qt paint matched to Pantone 19-6050 (#284936). Your only true brand-green ground for the occasional dark hero shot. Use sparingly. 1$45
White foam-core (V-flats) + black foam-core Two white boards taped into a V = your fill. One black for negative fill. 3$20
Handheld clothing steamer For the vests and silks. Controlled, not stiff — "softly rumpled," not creased. 1$40
Invisible/ghost mannequin · optional For on-form vest packshots if you don't want every vest shot as a flat lay. 1$90
Poster/museum putty + dressmaker pins Stand small items up, hold folds, pin drape. 1 ea$10
Rough total: core B&H kit ≈ $700–800 · surfaces + steamer elsewhere ≈ $150–200 · optional adds (86" roll, C-stand, mannequin) ≈ $300+. You already own the lights, so this is the whole gap.
Part 2 · Shooting the grid

Five rules that keep it consistent

A PDP grid reads as "one brand" only if these stay identical shot to shot, SKU to SKU.

Part 3 · One recipe per SKU

Shot recipes

Ground / light / angle / styling, plus the shots to capture for each.

Sloan Vest

Hero · Ivory + Black, parent + kid
Ground
Warm White for the clean packshot; ecru linen or oak for the styled pair.
Light
Big soft key left, V-flat fill right. Soft directional shadow.
Angle
Straight-on for on-form; true overhead for flat lays.
Styling
Steam first. Lay softly rumpled, not stiff. Parent + kid side by side — tonal, not matchy.
Capture: on-form (ghost mannequin) or clean flat · the parent + kid pair flat lay (the differentiator) · detail crops with raking light — zip pull, snap, heat-transfer logo.

Sunglasses

Toddler + infant · small, glossy
Ground
Warm White; a Brunswick Green tile for one accent hero.
Light
Soft + flagged — kill reflections in the lenses. A light tent helps.
Angle
Overhead flat lay + one 3/4 angle.
Styling
Poster putty to set the angle. Watch for light sources mirrored in the lens.
Capture: clean overhead · 3/4 hero · folded/with-strap detail · one soft prop flat lay (sprig of greenery or linen).

Mats

135×135 cm PU leather · the size driver
Ground
86" Warm White on the floor for full overhead, or shoot styled/partial.
Light
Large soft source raking across to show the leather grain.
Angle
Directly overhead from the boom/ladder; one low 3/4 for texture.
Styling
Roll one corner; show it flat and folded. Keep edges square to frame.
Capture: full flat overhead · partially rolled · grain/edge detail crop · in-use styled (mat + hat on it).

Hats

Baby / kids / adult · 4 colors
Ground
Warm White — shoot all colors on the same ground for a clean color row.
Light
Soft key left, fill right. Identical for every colorway.
Angle
3/4 on a hat block/stand so the crown holds shape.
Styling
Stuff with tissue to keep form. Same stand, angle, light for all 4.
Capture: 3/4 on block (×4 colors, identical) · top-down brim shot · inside/band detail. Color accuracy matters most here — lean on the checker.

Silks

Scarves + eye masks
Ground
Warm White or Bone. Himalaya tissue as a prop under one styling shot.
Light
Soft side light to catch the sheen without harsh hotspots.
Angle
Overhead flat lay; eye masks flat and square.
Styling
Gentle folds and drape to show movement — not flat-ironed.
Capture: draped flat lay · soft knot/fold showing the weave · eye mask flat · print/edge detail crop.
Two things to hold the line on. Warm White, never pure white — pure white reads cold and off-brand. And run the ColorChecker at the start of every single session; with Ivory and the soft tonal palette, a half-stop of drift is the difference between a grid that looks like one brand and one that doesn't.
Brunswick Green · #284936
Ivory · #F8F8EE
Himalaya · #FFF6F9
